To keep this hyper-local. We want to ensure the ideas coming through are from people who actually live in the area, and it helps me see which neighbourhoods are speaking up.
About Shape Gosport.
Gosport doesn't need another politician telling them what the problems are — we all live here, we see them every day. Shape Gosport is an independent community hub built to crowdsource real solutions straight from PO12 and PO13 residents.
Is it anonymous?
Your postcode and ward stay private on my secure campaign dashboard. Only your first name shows up on the public sticky notes.
What happens to these ideas?
They aren't going into a black hole. Everything submitted here directly shapes my independent campaign pledges and priorities for Gosport.
How to use this site.
01 — Pick a page
The Board is where everyone's sticky notes live. Your Gosport, Your Priorities lets you allocate the community pot. The High Street Wishlist is where you pitch what our high street needs.
02 — Write your note or pitch
You'll be asked for your first name, your ward and the first digits of your postcode. Only your first name ever shows publicly — the rest stays with me.
03 — Say it constructively
Tell us the problem, but more importantly tell us the fix. What would actually make your street, your ward, or the town centre better?
04 — Watch it land
Your note joins the live board the moment it's posted, and everything sent through shapes the campaign's pledges and priorities.
The one rule.
Hatred, bigotry, racism and bad language are not welcome here. Anything of that nature is blocked before it ever reaches the board. This isn't about shouting — it's about change that will help improve Gosport, that will drive the economy and that will make residents feel happier. Disagree with an idea? Say why, and offer a better one.
Notes caught by the filter never get published and never get stored — you'll be asked to rewrite the same thought constructively instead.
